Bradley constructs this painting as a layered collage of Indigenous resistance across time. Scenes of Wounded Knee, the Pueblo Revolt, and the American Indian Movement appear alongside pointed text – “No FBI” – and fragments of protest imagery. The composition does not unfold chronologically. Events collapse into one field – past and present that coexist without hierarchy. The work reads as an accumulation of resistance that is not an isolated episode, but a recurring presence.
